I'm delighted to be doing a little more sewing at the moment - as often happens it's under the time pressure of an important life event. The project is a wedding quilt for a young couple who have a love of calming tones. They are keen for neutral colours to blend with their decor, and I must admit that it was a challenge to find a range of fabrics that give enough tonal contrast to highlight the very simple star design.
